Muc-Off’s innovative 2010 Auto Care and Tech Care Series products have been under going stringent testing with the Force India Formula One Team.
The results have been highly impressive and Muc-Off now has ‘Official Supplier’ status. Muc-Off products will be used for the team’s race cars, race trucks, laptops and pit crew equipment for the 2010 season.
To shine on the circuit, drivers and teams need to respond in thousandths of a second to balance fuel weight with tyre performance over varying weather and track conditions, whereas trackside the pit crew need fast effective products that will give them outstanding results under pressure. Time is crucial whether it be in testing, qualifying or under race conditions so each care product has to produce exceptional results in the heat of competition.
Muc-Off Split Second Detailer Wax will leave the teams cars with a perfect shine and a protective layer to help keep drag to a minimum. The cars are treated with this product every time they enter the team garage. Muc-Off Wheel Cleaner is also used to eliminate built up brake dust while at the same time caring for the delicate finish and materials used at this level. The race trucks are all cleaned with Übershine and then polished with Miracle Shine.
The detailing doesn’t stop with the teams’ vehicles; the pit crew is also getting some Muc-Off love! Each member of the crew will keep their helmets and goggles clean and fresh using Muc-Off Foam Fresh, Helmet and Visor cleaner and Helmet Polish. But that’s not all! Off the circuit, data Engineers are also being supplied with the new 2010 Muc-Off Tech Care Series products for all the teams computers and laptops. The kits include cleaning and protection products for screens and hand held devices – and in a world where details matter it is imperative that nothing compromises the team’s performance.
